Zac is an Architect with professional experience working in North America and Eastern Asia, including building design, architectural research, and building performance analysis in both commercial and academic contexts.
Zac has worked for domestic offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Dallas as well as international offices of London, New Delhi, and Singapore. He has also spent time as an Adjunct Professor and a member of multiple AIA design initiatives.

As an Architect at Populous Kansas City office, Zac’s efforts center on a broad range of activities from preliminary/schematic design through design development/documentation of architecture and related structures. With an avid interest in the design-to-fabrication methods, he continues to develop the design process with emerging technology and computational methods.

At universities across the United States, Zac has lectured at the intersection of object and digital production. The lectures were with both graduate and undergraduate studios while covering topics such as: software toolsets, digital practice and processes, digital fabrication, and more recently graphic communication and representation.

Through collaborations with AIA consortiums, such as the Dallas AIA Design Awards, Zac initiated design dialogue and exhibition events. Exhibitions spanned both built and unbuilt categories with a number of industry recognized experts as judges for award selections; Such as Office NADAA, LTL Architects, and Snow Kreilich Architects. 

Zac is from Minnesota and received his Bachelors degree from Southern Illinois University and Masters degree from The University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
